hey i was wondering if i cud be an admin cuz im on a lot plus i was wondering r u a guy or a gurl and where r u from? not trying to pick u up just wondrin cuz ppl were saying ur Sasha i donno if role name or real

Well, I don't let just anybody on the admin team. Why do you want to be on the admin team, and what could you do to help SCF run at a smoother pace?

i think i should be an admin cause im pretty much on every time im on the computer plus i would check up on the site and i could post the link on other sites.

But being an admin is more than just being here. I'm very glad that you are an active member, but being an admin means that if I ask you to update a section of the site you can do it no problem and in an unbiased manner. For example after each card is done, the roster page has to be updated to show the fighters most recent fight results. In order to update this you must understand the message board enough to use it's functions (center, table, link, ect.). I need dependable partners who will be able to do things when I am not present so that the org continues to move smoothly. Not saying you aren't dependable, just haven't seen any proof of how reliable and consistant you are. Have you ran or helped run any orgs in the past?

ok i havent been a admin on any cuz this is my 3rd one i was goin to be then one folded but i agree with u i dont think i wud be ableto update everythingbut im thinking of opening my own for experience and for fun wud u help me if i decide to??

you wouldn't have to update everything alone lol That's why we're the admin TEAM. I'd help you learn the ropes and if you had any questions you could ask either DJ-Syn or myself at anytime. I just don't want to be adding people to the admin team only for them to not be of much use. DJ Syn updates the rankings 90% of the time, and just about anything else I ask him to do he does it. I usually update the roster pages myself but sometimes when I'm busy I'll ask him to do it for me, so it wouldnt be like "Now that you're a part of the team, this is all your work now!" We try and keep the load light for everyone so that it remains fun for everyone. I just want dependable members is all.

Also once we gain more members, I may open a smaller league much like the WEC is for the UFC. If you're interested I could let you run that league here and help you out if needed

Alright cool! Give me time to think on it and speak with Syn about temporarily adding another member to the admin team. The second org won't be for a while however because we're still trying to get new members to fill our SCF cards. Once we gain a good number of new members, The second org will most likely be opened. So do spread the link to SCF around!

I agree with you. At the moment the work is light, and not much else needs be done that neither one of us can handle. Call me old fashioned but when apping for a job isn't proper english usually an up in an interview? hehe... I think we can handle everything at the moment, before handing a job to a new blood, I would run the position by an older loyal member first. ( assuming there was an opening )

Yes that's one of the things I picked up on as well. I honestly would not make him an admin immediately as he sounded a bit young, so instead I let him know that being an admin wasn't a sit and do nothing job. I'm also very paranoid when it comes to trusting people with the core files. The whole Starrcadia thing with me not trusting the person who purchased the site followed by him shutting it down only made it worse lol.

I used to be apart of a couple of wrestling efeds back in the day and one of the things I noticed is that the members as well as the site owners would get so into character that they'd forget it was a game. It started with ooc arguements, then they began bashing each others orgs and characters out of character, gm's in orgs would begin "firing" wrestlers because they were roleplay dating their real life spouses(lol), claiming sites were stealing their wrestlers(That's like me seeing Derek Rand is at Glory and getting mad at the man behind Gilberto Dos Santos for "stealing him" and thus sabotaging his characters bouts here.) They actually began sabotaging message boards. One place I roleplayed in the past had an admin who went to another org, and in leaving erased EVERYTHING from the message board. All the past cards, call outs, promos, everything was gone. Yeah it got crazy lol that's why I try and make sure everyone remembers it's a game.

So whenever I see someone asking for an admin spot, especially a new guy who wants to build his own org, the first thing I think is "what if he sabotages my org in hopes that people will leave and go to his?". I however have no problem helping others build their own orgs in hopes that they are successful. Not only does it push me to try and build a better org, it also puts those that are interested in mma sims together in one space making SCF promotion much easier

lol He's such a character. He was actually supposed to be helping me with SCF when I was first making Starrcadia. He was so ready to help out, then I told him that Mitch Armour wouldn't be allowed to fight here because it wouldn't be realistic to have him both here and the IMMAF, then suddenly he wanted absolutely nothing to do with it and I kind of figured that would happen because putting Armour's face on everything was all he was known for doing back when I was active at IMMAF.
